ABOUT US

My business just started with a simple idea,  honestly I thought it was never going to work. My own business 'haha good luck' and especially having six diagnosis like ADHD and autism. I was getting bullied every day at school and wanting to give up, and that's when it hit me to make a business to help people with special needs. That hate made me stronger, to push through and look to the future. So never give up on your dreams, thoughts or ideas cuz maybe just maybe one day they'll change the world.

Growing up, life was not always easy. From a very young age, there were challenges with learning, communication, focus, and feeling overwhelmed in busy places. Doctors were unsure what the future would look like. There were many hospital visits, therapy sessions, and special schools. Simple outings that other families took for granted — like going to events, shopping centres, concerts, or sports games — could feel stressful, loud, confusing, and sometimes impossible.

What does the future hold for me?

When I was growing up, I had so much energy and found it very hard to settle. I know this was stressful for my mum. Raising a child with special needs can be very challenging, especially for single parents who are often tired, worried, and doing their best every day.
Spinning Axis was created to help make life a little easier for both children and parents. Through sensory fidget toys, fun activities, and inclusive programs, we aim to reduce stress, build confidence, and create safe, happy spaces where everyone feels supported and understood. Donations help us provide these resources and continue helping families in our community.

How did I get into yoyoing?

It all started when my mum bought me a yo-yo. For someone like me with ADHD, it was the perfect outlet for my energy and focus. I knew what a yo-yo was, but honestly I had no idea what I was doing — I was just excited to try. I went on Google to learn, and what I saw completely blew my mind. Tricks I thought were impossible were actually possible with patience, practice, and determination.
Learning yo-yo helped me build confidence, improve my focus, and feel proud of what I could achieve. It showed me that having a busy mind can be a strength when you find the right activity. That is why I now want to share this skill and passion with others, especially young people and those with special needs, to help them feel capable, calm, and inspired to keep trying new things.
